June Strawberry Moon

Five stars. (★★★★★)

The moon always gets five stars; this month I get two stars. This is the most pitiful moon effort yet. On Day 11 of this tenacious bug, the best I could do was drag myself outside at 5 a.m., take a few photos, shuffle back in. Then I showered, finished packing, and Ubered to the airport for my flight to France on a seven-day work trip.

Since the last moon:

• Another excavation session at Mom's house; this time with more memories and laughs.

• Got sick on an extended work trip to NYC; stuck it out when I should have flown home.

  
  

Looking forward:

• The other side of this Cannes trip.

• Getting back to exercise and feeling human again.

• Montana and Colorado around the July 4 holiday week.

• Car shopping - still haven't started, too much going on.
