How has it been a month already? How did I get so overwhelmed by work and life, that the full moon came out of nowhere and surprised me on Friday morning?


The September Harvest Moon was still going strong on my 13-mile Sunday run. It was a beautiful morning and helped me recenter myself after a few destabilizing weeks.


Since the last moon:

  • Made my trip to the Colorado mountain house...

  • And was sick with COVID almost the entire time.

  • Tamara and Cameron welcomed little Sofia into the world.

  • Survived the "Leading in Complexity" work offsite.

Looking forward:

  • Closing the sale of Mom's house, a huge milestone in a challenging journey.

  • Spending a week in Prescott, Arizona for the Man Against Horse half-marathon.

  • Hopefully, booking my annual Halloween trip to Tahoe.
