Missoula Marathon 2025

Five stars. (★★★★★)

I did not run. I carb-loaded in solidarity, and spent a couple of days groaning and shuffling around as if I'd run a marathon. I was (am) still sick, unbelievably.

It was fun to cheer Cameron in the marathon and Tamara in the half-marathon Sunday; by then I was feeling well enough to join the family at the finish line. Raquel and Marcel made an impressive last-minute decision to run the 5K Saturday. Dad and I were the only non-runners.

This tenacious bug slowed me down, but didn't stop me from enjoying the best parts of a Montana visit: Morning coffee on the deck, Raquel's delicious cooking, family crossword, and catching up with everyone.
