Cannes Lions

Three stars. (★★★)

As far as work conferences go, Cannes Lions has some redeeming qualities. There’s the gorgeous setting, the opportunity to get away for dinner in an idyllic village, the beach parties and free-flowing food and wine. On the other hand, it’s still a work conference. If a typical ad tech conference is zero stars (and I promise you, it is) then Cannes belongs on the less torturous side of the spectrum. I am exhausted.
